My Fitness Journey

Welcome to my Blog!
A safe space. A sacred space.
A slightly unhinged space — where sweat, sass, snacks, and sore thighs collide.

My name’s [Insert Name or Just Say “I’m the Thicc Chick”].
I’m 60.
I’ve got a whole lot of life experience, curves, and absolutely zero interest in pretending this fitness journey is cute.

I started working out 13 weeks ago.
And by “working out,” I mean:

  • Arguing with a floor mat
  • Fighting for my life in water aerobics
  • Negotiating with my butt on a Peloton seat that feels like revenge

This blog isn’t about before-and-after pictures.
It’s about the middle.
The in-between.
The part where everything hurts, nothing fits, and the instructor says “just one more set!” while my soul exits my body.

I kept the first 12 weeks to myself — I needed that time.
To get real.
To stop quitting.
To stop hiding behind the “I’ll start Monday” lie.
Now? I’m here. Still standing. Still thicc.
And writing it all down.

Because if I can do it, sweaty and dramatic as I am… so can you.

And this is my desk, my diary, and my deeply personal war with lunges.
